Now very much resident in our apartment (George Bush would be proud of the efforts of our landlord to provide one of the most highly secured installations on the India subcontinent) and have (today) graduated from “Nepali for confused foreigners” language training.
And in a week we’ll all be put out to do real work. Alarming!
Weather a bit confused - hot and stormy when it supposed to be dry season.
But we are extremely happy and keeping well (despite my rather unseasonable heavy cold bordering on flu).

Now, with full time language lessons out of the way, we’ll create a garden with the (also VSO) couple upstairs. Hopefully it will withstand the eventual building of a third and final floor in the apartment block.
And Laura has a job. Actually two! - three days a week doing some IT focused work in the place I am doing management advising and the balance of the week (most likely) at a disabled women’s organisation doing organisation development advising.
